Overview

Sprite Workshop helps users split uploaded images into separate sprites, review and remove crops, download ZIP files, and build sprite sheets from multiple uploaded images.

Images and user input

Users choose which images to upload. Sprite Workshop processes those images to generate cropped sprites, ZIP downloads, sprite sheets, and layout JSON.

Gemini mode

If a user chooses Gemini mode, the selected image and the user-provided Gemini API key are used to make a request to Google's Gemini Developer API. Sprite Workshop does not hardcode a shared Gemini key in the current version.

Data collection

Sprite Workshop does not sell personal data. The current version is designed as a lightweight tool for user-directed image processing workflows.

Downloads

Users may download generated PNG, ZIP, and JSON files directly from the app.

Chrome extension note

The current Chrome extension is a wrapper around the hosted Sprite Workshop web app. The hosted app and extension follow the same basic behavior described in this policy.
